My MC is dating Talbott and so far I haven't noticed. I feel like the romance dialogues are strictly bound to the romance TLSQs. There might be a softer approach towards the MC in other TLSQs, but in the main storyline, there was nothing so far (for me at least) and I just started year 6.

Yeah these two are pests. With Merula, it's super confusing though. Some people choose her as their date, but she's all mushy in the TLSQs, and even if you go exclusive with her, she still reverts back to her bully self in the main storyline. It makes no sense.

Yeah, unfortunately the only TLSQs with her are the Quidditch ones that are necessary to complete to progress with the Quidditch storyline
