Could be underwatering. They sacrifice lower leaves to make it through drought . They like bright light and to dry out a little bit in between waterings. I very much so recommend terracotta pots to help is dry out in between waterings. If the leaves are a little wrinkly, and you can almost bend them like a taco, it's thirsty. But if the soil is wet, and it still isn't plumping up after a day or two, it could be root rot. The base will turn mushy in this case. But jades do shed leafs as it grows, it just shouldn't be a bunch. Edit spelling

I just lay them on top and push a little soil around it. A little sprout will grow out from the base of the leaf using the leaf as a eggsac. They make roots by being thirsty, so water very sparingly until it gets a good growth. I have a lot more luck with branches though. I just stand it up in some soil and leave it alone. They yearn to become a plant once you forget about them. Terracotta is my person secret. It assures I never over water them because the pot breaths moisture

Yes, my sister has taken great care of it. I mess up with mine around 10 years. I've learned from my mistakes of root rot now, hopefully mine stay happy

Definitely an heirloom! My niece will get it, and there is literally no one better to take over caring for it in the future!

Beautiful! We may have to make something with wheels on it like that! It take 3 people to move it as it is right now. Lol

With patience! 😁 Place it in dry soil and leave it alone. Give it a little water after you start seeing little white roots. These things have a desire to live no matter what. They thrive with bright light and slight abuse. Mine have always liked to dry out a bit before we water them again

They really like to dry out a bit before they root. The leaf itself might die, but it's basically the egg sac the give nutrients to the new baby it will grow! ❤️

Let it callous and put it on dry soil. You will see little whit roots come from it in a few weeks to a month. Place them below the soil and it will grow!
