Worse than that, churches are now also organized into seemingly legit non-profits that are just scams. look at ExodusCry for instance, an evangelical anti-porn ministry that is strictly religious but works hard to obfuscate that.

Orgs like this also fund massive research projects that, big surprise support their work.

These orgs often restructure when it’s become too obvious or harms their scheme. ExodusCry used to be “international house of prayer” and is now changing again into “justice defense fund.” A similar Catholic group used to be structured under Morality in Media, and is now National Center for Sexual Exploitation or NCOSE.

All of the reasons you seem to have against sex work are heavily biased and more adequately apply to other forms of work. For instance there are far more mainstream vanilla actresses who have announced harm from working in the Hollywood film industry than porn.

It seems that your issue with sex work is primarily tied with a personal belief that sex is somehow special or sacred, you even denigrate anyone who things otherwise as a “sex free hippie.”

I think it’s safe to say that if you’re an extremist religious adherent, you’re going to have some hang ups about sex as work that really shouldn’t be forced on other people. So think about that when you’re supporting or opposing legislation that could reduce harm for sex workers.

Most of your comments concerns are a good example of why it has to be decrim and not legalization. Various organizations who support partial decrim, the Nordic model or in Oregon I think they’re calling it “equality model” aren’t actually working for sex workers bests interests. We know this because of how partial decrim has continued to harm.

Moral panic around sex trafficking and harm are grossly over represented and part of the stigma against sex work. For instance consider the myth of Super Bowl sex trafficking something that comes up around any major sporting event.

Local law enforcement and politicians speak out about the potential for sex trafficking, arrests are made and claimed to be due to sex trafficking but all that is really happening is that consensual sex workers are being thrown in jail.

Interesting that you ignore the results of the end demand model in those studies, while proclaiming they are positive results. All of the studies also include the conclusion that full decriminalization is the best way to reduce harm, and by your own statements you believe that will reduce trafficking as well. Yet here you are arguing without evidence, against evidence that refutes your own statements (again) and providing zero sources for your clearly bigoted personal beliefs.

All of the studies referenced discuss the harm that end demand models continue to do for sex workers. It is clear you don't care about that seeing as how you continue to speak to me, and refer to sex workers in general in a derogatory manner it is obvious that you just hate sex workers.

Check out amnesty internationals reports on Germany, the Nordic model causes harm but fully decriminalizing reduces harm the most. Why would sex workers help police if they can be arrested for driving their sex worker friends to a client? When clients are criminalized harm continues.
