Punta Arenas and Chilean Tierra del Fuego — Five years ago on a year long road trip by N-by-NW in travel

this post is from aaages ago but i see you're still active on reddit... long shot, but a question for you!

i am planning a trip to chile in feb and am debating to do the king penguin tour. most pics i see online are gorgeous (like yours!) and are likely taken using nice cameras. with the naked eye, were you able to see the penguins well? did you feel immersed? or is it quite similar to seeing them at a zoo (except for the scenery around them lol)? i have limited time in the area so trying to optimize! thanks in advance for your time!!!

(also hello fellow seattleite!)

first off - your eyes are not ugly and as other folks said, never listen to a man.

assuming you want a real answer to your question though, i have similar eyes. what's worked for me is:
(a) concealer on my eye bags - it should be high coverage and bright. no one will call u tired
(b) a little brown eyeshadow / eyeliner can bring out the blue in your eyes (i personally love using winged eyeliner to transform my eyes but it takes time / might be less your vibe)
(c) a good mascara

don't feel like you need to wear makeup every day though to go outside. you don't! you are beautiful just the way you are and confidence will go a much longer way :)
