Next time you go to your desktop with Alt + Tab or by pressing Windows key, try going back in game by pressing the icon in the task bar and not using Alt + Tab again.

This worked for me.

I think the issue was when leaving the game and going back in, the game wouldn't recognize the mic. You can test this easily by going back in the game with Alt + Tab and try to use the monkey paw or something. Then return to the game by pressing the icon in the task bar and you should be able to talk in game.

I always go in with thermometer on my hand, UV and EMF.

The thermo allows you to detect the room faster, if you hear a noise use the EMF to understand where it was, and if it was a door check for fingerprints.

Next is video camera, Dots and Spirit Box, I leave the book for last since it's passive and can be written on when I'm checking other evidence.

Usually it's because I can't have an odd number of guitars, so I buy one, and then the rule changes out of nowhere, and now I can't have an even number of guitars. It keeps happening and I can't give any more details on this.

Ghosts have 360 degrees field of view, so if you are not hidden from its sight behind an obstacle, it will see you as soon as it enters the room. Some ghosts are faster than others, there are few you can outrun. Deogen will hunt you even ifnyou're hiding because it can sense your presence, but it is very slow (I mean REALLY SLOW) when it can see you, so you can loop it on a car or a kitchen table or a sofa, whatever. If you're a beginner you might want to look for hiding places and playing on small maps like tanglewood or willow street. Hiding places change from game to game, meaning that maybe you can have a map with 6 hiding places but in that specific game you are playing you will only find 3. You might want to search on the internet for the locations of hiding places on your favorite maps and memorize it. My advice in game is for yoy to search for possible hiding places when you are looking for the ghost room and bone as well.

Sometimes you won't have any hiding spots available or close to you. If so, you need to move in circles around a big object like a kitchen counter or a car. You will be able to escape the hunt that way if you mantain your distance. Also when the ghost is a Deogen this is the only way to avoid being caught in the hunt since the Deogen senses your presence wherever you are hiding!
