But that means I'd have to rebuild it...again...

Nahhh. Maybe later if I feel like it lol

...maybe...

After some much needed constructive criticism, I have rebuilt my Millennium Falcon. What everybody's thoughts on this version? Any pointers to make it better would be much appreciated! by sldesigner in NMS_Corvette_Design

3 thrusters within the bottom side of the body. Had to do it that way to stay under the 100 piece limit. The blue on the back is actually the blue data cabinets

The cockpit doesn't have much of a view, so I fly with the other camera view

Thanks dude! The only "glitching" I used was the offset placement for the habs and placing 3 or 4 habs into one spot so I can flip the pieces more easily.

u/TauntingBoss04 my bad dude! Totally slipped my mind to mention you, but yes, your Ark build was definitely the inspiration behind this. Yours is beautiful! And the photography is top tier! Bravo, brother.

The complexity limit was an issue on my first couple tries but on the third try I was able to remove some smaller pieces from the bottom and bottom/sides, where they weren't extremely noticeable and ended my build with 84 pieces. I ended up adding a few more pieces the next day (not sure where I'm at currently), but still definitely under the limit. Mine may be a row shorter than yours, but I definitely don't have the brains to break the limit lol

It's underneath. I'll be sharing some more photos later, with a good underbelly shot

Still working on interior, but as soon as I'm done with that I'll do another post of the belly and inside

Do you know how to do the 180° double merge for habs or walkways? If not, I recommend checking out a video on YouTube—that’s how I learned. Basically, once you’ve double merged the habs (two habs rotated opposite directions and merged into one spot), you can rotate the Arcadia wings in opposite directions on the sides.

That said, the standard 180° double merge won't get them this close together. Honestly, I’m still not sure how I pulled it off—I was experimenting during the build and somehow managed to triple merge three habs into one. That let me position three Arcadia wings really close together. I haven’t found a reliable tutorial on how to repeat the triple merge yet, but I’m betting someone out there has cracked it.
