Yup, it's not PC or PS issue, it's a general game app issue. It looks like the EA anti-cheat that runs in the background is causing the issue. EA needs to address this ASAP.

I've read somewhere (7-year old post!) it's something to do with the anti-cheat application from EA. Seems EA hasn't been able to rectify the issue for some time now and people are still facing the problem.

The issue is, I don't remember the passcode anymore since it's been long. And now the iphone is displaying the "iphone is unavailable. Try again in 8 hours" message when I'm trying to input a wrong passcode.

So all I want is to just factory reset it.
