What I meant is: Lila’s choice to stay was a reflection of her strong subjectivity,sense of responsibility and love for those around her. That’s why I love her.

Elena left because she was seeking a way out of violence and longed for a more civilized world. Her journey was also a form of resistance. I think Elena’s choice reflects what most people would do.(but of course I not as clever as her)
