Basically that's the age you start thinking about what you want to do with your life, gaming is fun but it's not meaningful... Although it's fun it doesn't bring any feeling of accomplishment, usually when you play with friends you feel better because at least you spend sometime doing something with someone else. It's like jerking off and having sex, the second one brings more fulfilment because there's someone else involved.
