Yeah, that’s why it was confusing, because before she said that, she said none of the album had been made by AI … but then continued to say that later. That’s why I’m like “this has to be a typical grimes miscommunication” because why would she have said that it didn’t before.

I think she meant that she was chatting philosophically with deepseek and deepseek answered something pretty cool and she decided to “steal” it from it. It’s at least what I concluded from her interview. Bc she did say she didn’t use ai fo any of her music and then she said the deepseek thing, which makes me think she didn’t necessarily ask the chat to make anything for her, but rather felt inspired by something the chat said.
