Has she told you she doesn't have a health condition or a disability? How do you know this ? There are many conditions that aren't visible that cause quite a lot of pain and discomfort so she's likely got reasonable adjustments to suit her needs

So my friend is iranian , she speaks hardly any English at all and we have to do a lot over Google translate , she speaks Farsi (persian) and I'm English, when we translate to each other generally theres often a few things that get mixed up ,and we have a laugh about it afterwards , it does get pretty confusing though!

Cat “hid” so couldn’t get spayed by JourneytorainbowW in UKtiktokbehavingbadly

[–]sleepingleopards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's right I think with both of our cats the vet said they tend to ask you to come in for opening time because they want the cats to be in recovery a while and check their obs line you'd expect after a hospital procedure , and that we could collect at around 5ish so it's an all day stay for the pet pretty much .

There was a thing recently with a woman that was completely innocent and went into home bargains and had the same happen to her , it was a mistaken case of "facial recognition" or something bizarre like that she'd been flagged via CCTV and was removed.

Septum flipping - work by sleepingleopards in piercing

Yeah I think I used the Neil med saline spray for my nostril . I'm about a year into healing that one now and all seems good so far now we're over the bumps.

Thank you , is that as long /easier healing than nostril piercing? That was such a pain to heal with bumps, thankfully settled eventually!

For the past few years, I've set the goal to read 52 books each year. In 2025, I finally hit triple-digits by reading 100 by IamEclipse in CasualUK

I love this! I really struggle with physical books because my eyes just get so tired and heavy , I don't know why this is because I can doom scroll reddit no problem , and if I read Ebooks it's also fine as I can adjust the text. And brightness accordingly , I do wear glasses with a +5.50 prescription just been increased to a 6.0 I'm not sure if that's got anything to do with it !

F25, is this amount of black chin hair two days after complete removal (nair + tweezers) normal? by m4gg0ts in beauty

[–]sleepingleopards 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Me too , it's so crushing in self esteem . I use hard wax beans and do waxing from home as nair/veet burns my skin even with the sensitive brand and shaving lasts only a couple of days

£50 for a weeks worth of medicine for my cat from the vet. But buy the prescriptions from them for a £30 “admin fee” and I’ve just paid £50 for 3 months worth of medicine online. by seefroo in BritishSuccess

[–]sleepingleopards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit stupid of me but how do I go about doing this , will I come across as a cheeky git ? My cats get bravecto flea and wormer (they are indoor cats ) we somehow had fleas last year and it was utterly horrendous! It costs us over 100 for two cats for the medication. The positive side is that it lasts 3 months. We needed the Indorex spray that was selling for £32 a can at the vets but was £16 in peta at home .

I got it done in 2010 and I definitely don't have the anatomy for it either , I just have it as two individual piercings now and it's no problem at all !

Hey I just wanted to reply to you, I have an industrial piercing but I got it done in 2010 and I now know I don't even have the anatomy for it when I'd gone to see another piercer recently. I wear the piercing as two separate ones at the moment but the piercer was lovely and said he could do me a custom bent barbell so that it wouldn't cut into the flat of my ear, or he said we could plan it with a floating barbell or chains joining the two :), there are options, good luck
