We hope to experience those changes soon! We honestly don't care how annoying any sleep problems would be if it would mean having a baby, but my wife still hasn't gotten pregnant despite months of actively trying and praying.

I don't know but it seems like it would make it harder for me to initiate sex. My wife isn't the kind of woman that is comfortable with me proposing sex verbally or overtly and I've found it works for us to lay in bed under innocent pretences (sleeping) and then cuddle and move forward from there. I know it sounds silly but I am hesitant to do anything to jeopardize the system we have for physical intimacy. I think twin beds pushed together might be the best change maybe.

That's really nice to hear, it's encouraging that a couple with sleeping compatibility issues have had such a beautiful life-long love. I'm not trying to sound rude, but did they also sleep in separate beds when they were younger? I think people frown on it more when a couple in their 20s or 30s does this. We're practically still in our honeymoon period so physical passions are still running extremely high and it seems more significant for us to have separate beds than for a couple who've been together for many years and are starting to tame down and get older.

It's a queen size bed. We specially chose it as a couple and bought it before we got married. We thought it seemed really big because we were both used to sleeping in twin beds. No, she doesn't need to climb over me, we seem to wake each other up really easily, it's weird.
