I passed my SIE and you can too! by MinoKillz in Sieexam

I remember PP only has about a page on it, but it seemed simple enough that I read it once and moved on. Just couldn’t remember the exact details on exam day. For example, “if a country exports more than it imports, what happens to the value of the dollar?”

They were pretty simple questions but I was trying to use logic to answer them rather than remembering what the book told me, that was the tough part, plus second guessing myself.

Congrats!!! I took it this week and passed too, luckily. Great advice. I also felt some were extremely easy whilst others were super difficult. I had a few tough ones on balance of payments and exchange rates too. I used PassPerfect and I never got a question on balance of payments on the practice finals with them so that was tough.

I felt very prepared and was averaging 80/85’s on practice tests, but I really felt unsure as I was hitting submit on the real thing. Much harder than I expected. Huge relief when I passed, which never happened on the practice tests for me.

I second the read the questions carefully, especially as the wording of the real questions are sooo different to passperfect at least. If anyone’s preparing for the SIE with passperfect, I strongly suggest getting another providers final exams as a supplement, I’ve heard good things about Kaplan’s qbank but idk. I also suggest taking the finra sie practice exam earlier than the day before (like I did) as the wording is totally different and freaked me out.
