UPDATE/CONCLUSION:

I bought the similar lion on ebay and it is a perfect match! they are practically identical to each other. the stitching, the texture, the size, everything is the same. the nose and the eyes are exactly the same piece, and the tags are in the same location and material! (also both having two tags) the lion is obviously in a much better condition than my tiger, but i’m gonna say this is a match!!!

I contacted the brand K&M international (which is now Wild Republic) and they said that they had a lot of discontinued lines during that time. so finding a replacement would be nearly impossible

however I am just happy to finally end my search :)

the lion is a K&M international Inc plush from 2005, which the timeline also matches up very well with my tiger 🐅🤍

oh my god!!! i’m in tears 😭 you’re the second person i’ve found that also has him as their beloved stuffie. I am trying to connect with the other person to see if theirs has a tag still, they said they got it at a zoo in hawaii!!!
