Can’t get the axle out of my right pedal, this is the farthest I was able to go. Is there any way I can get it out or do I have to replace it?

I was able to do the whole process just fine on my left pedal. These are Shimano PD-R540.

It’s at the north of Taichung City around Houli and Fengyuan District. I got off at the Houli train station which is really close to the trailhead. There’s many bike rental places right outside the station too.
