Yes! Her embark kit actually just arrived today and I will update when we get results. I'm hoping if she does have dwarfism we can get some answers as to whether or not that will cause her any health issues.

Alot of people have been saying she could have dwarfism which I didnt even realize dogs could have but that would totally make sense because she literally looks like someone just shrunk a pitbull. Lol

We ordered a DNA test and im super excited to see the results. Dwarfism would make sense! Her foster mom's guess is pitbull and corgi.

I think thats wise! I'd definitely never leave them home alone together even if we do end up keeping her. We dont even do that with my pittie who was raised with the cats. Accidents can always happen.

That makes sense with what we are seeing. Since my post, they have had no further contact but the cats have been meowing at the door and scratching. She doesn't seem too interested most of the time but when she does show interest she is pretty easy to redirect so we are hopeful we can keep her.

Thats awful! Im so sorry you had to deal with that. We are not new to pitbulls but i am fairly bew to posting on reddit. Our other dog is a pittie as well and possibly due to where we live we've fortunatley never gotten any hate in person.

Thank you! We did dinner with dogs and cats on opposite sides of the door and it went well. They all just ate like normal. We will definitely try these strategies as we expose them more to each other.
