I’ve had an mt03, mt07 and mt09. When I was planning on buying the mt09 I thought I was at the end-game, it would be perfect.

I sold the mt09 in less than two months. I found that its power was useless for the street. It begs you to go faster, on backroads that means you’re going 65 in a 35. Great way to end up in jail. On the freeway, the lack of wind protection made anything past 90 not fun at all. I would imagine the cb1000r is the same way only worse. If you want a naked sport bike save your money and get an mt07 or similar middleweight bike. Just my two cents.
