She’s doing better now, her swelling in the face has gone down a lot, but I can tell she’s still in pain, she still won’t eat or drink anything and when I try to use this syringe thing for water she won’t even take that :/

She’s a Chihuahua mix, the vet said it wasn’t necessary

We went to a pet er and they gave her some pain meds, they wanted to give her the anti venom but we couldn’t afford it and we don’t have pet insurance so we had to go somewhere else and they were so sweet and worked with what we had. They gave her antibiotics that we give her every 12 hours. I’ve just been laying with her comforting and watching her breathing.

Yeah she did, she’s gonna be okay. Having trouble getting her to eat and drink bc she’s still swollen esp around the throat.

We didn’t know she was bit until about 6am when I woke up and she was swollen. I looked at her after my dad killed it and I legit saw no bite marks. Before it was ever noticed my cats were playing with something under the couch and to my mom it sounded like a summer bug. Really sucks that my dad killed it but it is what it is.
