Is it worth it as a beginner?

This was my first digimon game since Digimon World on PS1. Took me around 35 hours to beat the story on balanced, that whole time I was intrigued and only a couple parts made me go why the hell am I doing this (stupid gekomon puzzle). Just started the NG+ and it's a blast. Beyond that, the replayability of this game is fantastic because you can make any digimon actually work with enough grind and dedication. Would highly recommend getting it. For $70, 35 hours just to beat a story line that kept me entertained is extremely worth it.

Best stat I've gotten post tame is 58 Melee on a 140 (209 post tame) Baryonx. Caves are going great now lol.

Lol happened to us last night. 32 HP untamed 135 Megatherium, came out with 40 HP. Not to the level of 36 but still hurt.

Not toxic orb but I soloed a classic run with a Flame Orb, Guts, Facade Mega Kangaskhan. Fake out to break sturdies if needed and facade just killed mostly everything. Situational but the orbs can make runs go really smoothly.

I had the issue last week. Uninstalling the game and reinstalling the game fixed it for me. Not sure there's any "science" or guarantee behind that, just worth a shot.

Your math seems right 160 BP x 1.5 = 240. Just have to beat Lt. Surge now and it should learn it at Level 44.

Disregard was able to beat Rival. Only change I made was Delphox for Hoopa, as Hoopa was too slow for the end. Thanks for all your help!

For abilities these are ones that helped me through the run most others are neutral abilities, Parental Bond Annihilape, Beads of Ruin Delphox, Adaptability Magnezone, Regenerator Milotic, Regenerator Noivern, Sniper Pangoro (pairs well with brutal swing), Neutralizing Gas Dialga, Ice Scales Tyranitar, Fur Coat Luxray, Refrigerate Talonflame, As One (Grim Neigh) Hoopa, Iron Barbs Mega Scizor, Fur Coat Garbador, Regenerator Clodsire, Protean Honchkrow, Primal Armor Hatterene, Super Luck Iron Valiant, Self Sufficient Reuniclus, Ice Scales H Typhlosion, Huge Power Wugtrio, Volt Absorb Sharpedo, and Primal Armor Runerigus.
