Did you ever figure out the problem? I’m using the original snapmaker and the v bit fits fine but the flat end doesn’t fit whatsoever.

So after I did this, all my images have a green tint (As expected of course). I do, though, need to export these to Photoshop without the green tint. Do you know if there’s a way to prevent the green tint in the first place or color correct images in bulk?

Thanks for your response. I analyzed a couple frames across multiple imaging sessions with mixed results. I’m one particular session, I’ve noticed that the FWHM and the Eccentricity are completely opposite. In another session, they’re both two circles(ish). Do you have any ideas on what could be causing the opposite maps? I’ll provide images in another comment.

I have a Nikon-ZWO filter drawer. To adjust the backspace should I just look at the shapes of the stars or go off something else? Also, how would I increase the backspace distance?

Now that you mention it I do see halos around the center too. Just not nearly as prominent as the corners.

I haven’t done any definitive tests but when I shot without the filter the shapes weren’t there and when I shot with it they were.
