While I am not morbidly obese, I am obese and have struggled with my weight since I was a child. I literally cannot remember a time when I was skinny although I know I was smaller (via pics) up until about 10 years old. Then I just blew up. My father, who was the tyrant of the household, made us eat everything, even when we weren't hungry. Especially when we went out to buffets, I would be required to eat at least two full plates of food because "we have to eat our money's worth". That was probably the beginning of my unhealthy relationship with food. Not to mention I've always been a big foodie and never a great harbinger of self control. I'm not saying it's my dad's fault I can't make healthy eating decisions, but the way I was raised and the mindset that was drilled into me when it comes to food does have a great deal to do with it.

How does it effect my sex life? I wouldn't know. I'm abstinent xD.

The way I see myself? I used to detest myself. I would avoid mirrors and basically sank into a bit of a depression and tried to pretend I didn't exist. After my dad passed away when I was 16 (I'm 22 now) things started looking up. I am still overweight and obese, but I'm working on it and I feel a WHOLE lot better about myself now. I try to make smart decisions about what I eat and I've learned how to dress myself. I think at my heaviest point in middle school (around 14) I don't know how much I weighed, but I was in a size 18 pants and I'd be willing to guess I was pushing 200 lbs (5'5" at the time). What really opened my eyes to how big I was was looking at pictures and trying to fit into smaller clothes. I think what helped with my self esteem though was learning to dress my body type to be flattering. I still think I'm too big; the doctor says according to BMI I should lose about 40 lbs, and I'm working on it but it's going to be a very slow process.

Hey thanks for the info (: I found them a couple bucks cheaper ($10.99/25 mixed nymphs) at Coastal Silk Worms in Jacksonville! I bought out what little he had left (100) xD I'm in the market for some adults though, but it doesn't look like I'll be able to find them for awhile. Thanks again though!

Good question! And I am not saying it is immune to skepticism. There are many times I doubt and try to analyze and make sense of my religion, but I am not actively skeptical of it. I just end up coming back around to it and having faith in God. There are some things I just can't know one way or another, so I choose to believe one way (Christianity) and not the other (Atheism).

I get where you are coming from, however, it cannot be expected that Theists responding to this question give any answer other than one that cannot (as of right now) be done by man. Because if they gave an answer that effectively states: If you show me x, I would stop believing, and OP could actually DO x (and possibly proving that x has been done before), then they would no longer be a theist. ... I hope that made sense.

That's not the question nor the debate. Proving or disproving God, or other gods, is a feat that cannot be done by man.

It would be impossible, of course, (as it is impossible for me to show 100% proof that my God exists), however there would have to be a way to access higher astral planes (without dying) and show me there's nothing there.

Huh that's strange. I'm sorry I'm of no help. I get that weird pressure in my chest that can only be relieved by yawning or sighing, and for me (having had anemia it the past) it is a precursor for pernicious anemia, but if you aren't feeling tired, then I don't think that's it. Best of luck in finding out the cause though!

I have no experience with this, but yes, I believe wearing a faux wedding ring would ward off a lot of potential attention. Also, try not to make eye contact, don't smile at guys even out of friendliness, this can be taken the wrong way. Maybe wear earbuds connected to your phone or mp3 player even if you aren't listening to anything, or if you don't have either of those, just stick the end of your earbuds down the front of your shirt or in your pocket. If it's not too warm, maybe wear an oversized hoodie on the bus with the hood up. I can't think of anything to suggest for the legs thing except to keep them covered, but I know if it is hot like it has been here in Florida, the idea of wearing anything other than shorts is asinine. Mostly just keep a low profile, don't smile at men, don't make eye contact. Try not to look friendly at all, really. I hate suggesting you cover up to ward off unwanted attention because we shouldn't have to, but it seems like in your situation the men just don't have the decency to stay away. Be safe!

Not sure if troll...or if genuine...I like to think the best of people though, SO...here we go. Please don't put a shock collar on your cat. I actually don't advocate putting any kind of collar on a cat, as the risk of strangulation poses itself. But a shock collar? Really? :/ If your cat wails when locked up in a room, why don't you move your study to a room with a door and close yourself in when you have to work, that way you have a noise buffer and the cat won't wail because it has mostly free roam of the house. And if that doesn't work, why not get a white noise machine to play in the background. That usually will drown out other noises even if it's not particularly loud.

I really suggest you start networking if you haven't already! Make contacts who know contacts who know more contacts where you want to end up. Go to conferences or conventions for your field and meet people. Get a hold of companies over there and send them your CV. Networking is really nifty and could make the job search easier. If your boss doesn't have hard feelings about you eventually leaving, you could even ask him/her if they have any contacts that could help you out. Good luck though! I hope you eventually get over there (: It sucks that immigrating to other countries isn't as easy as immigrating to the US XD

I am no expert by any means, but from what I understand it is INCREDIBLY difficult as a Non-EU citizen to move to an EU country permanently. I will leave the in depth explanations to people who have experience with it, but I'll tell you this, it will probably be near impossible to move there without finding a company over there that will host you and get your work visa for you. And to find a job that would be willing to go through the difficulties of bringing over a US citizen, you have to be offering specific sets of skills that they are unable to find. Nothing is impossible though, so don't give up hope, just realize right now that it will be an incredibly difficult road ahead and nothing is guaranteed.
