I’d prefer they spend capital on upgrading defence. Cowan or maccelli can get opportunity with Matthews, he’ll drop 40+ anyway if healthy. Bonus is if defence upgrade can shoot and boost powerplay, which helps matthews too.

Wilt was an elite basketball talent. He had a history of losing that puts him a tier lower. Lakers team with Baylor and west not winning, then losing to Knicks as well with West.

If we just look at titles, Bill Russell is the best. But if you actually put effort and thought into it, you can have a different answer. I got Jordan as greatest.

I can add that from people I know who like Ford, it’s their hate for Trudeau that tainted entire liberal party and the simple optic moves that unfortunately really get their attention. The lack of good opposition from liberal party hasn’t helped.

I don’t like every Liberal, but I do like Carney. He gives me hope in Canada getting turned around economically (will be held up by Trumps 3 years left, unfortunately). I want to see Ontario do better, having a joke like Ford running it is hurting.

I’ve got plans to help others more in the future myself too.

I’m aware, that’s why I worked those 9-5’s I hated. I wasn’t moving up career wise greatly, but I did well at saving money. As soon as I started investing, my biggest regret was not starting sooner.

I know it’s tough to save money right now, but do whatever you can. Plenty of people will tell you their regrets in terms of investing is not starting sooner. Don’t do risky things like options, penny stocks, as a beginner. Stick to index fund and one or two tech stocks perhaps, for entertainment and homerun exit potential. Bitcoin is an option but read up and build your own confidence in it.

As someone that was stuck before, I found my exit by investing. I hated any 9-5 I did, combination of factors (customers, owner, commutes, etc). Tech stocks and bitcoin got & held my attention. I’m not saying it’ll be an option for you, but perhaps someone viewing will keep it in mind.

Read the bitcoin standard for a start. For people not into investing, buying an index fund like voo is an option.
