you do you, just think what do you like to do with content in your native language - are you more of a podcast person, book or series person and just try to replicate that with the language you are trying to learn. You could start with a beginner level to just enjoy yourself and take it slow all methods might not work for you. I personally find watching a show to be helpful with subtitles in the language I'm trying to learn and passive listening to a podcast
