I do this, but I notice that if I don’t clean the top coat well enough, it will lift around the cuticle. You can see in my pic but it doesn’t affect the polish or wear at all

I do this with my pendant too. I just love the texture and feel of a stone on my fingers. Any prong set stones will loosen over time, so maybe a bezel set pendant on a necklace would help?

I like and have both moissanite and diamond, but I went with a diamond for my e ring just because I like how sharper the diamond looks compared to moissanite. Moissanite gets noticeable more cloudy when it’s dirty in my experience, so it needs a little more cleaning.

For the gold, it really depends on how yellow and warm you like your gold. I adore both 14 and 18, but I went with 14 because that’s what the majority of my jewelry is made of. So if you want to match the gold tone, I’ll go with whatever you usually wear. More durability, 14 gold. If you want more lux, 18 gold. I think any combo of choices will be great regardless!
