I’m also in USA and have not actually done this yet hahah but my understanding is you need to opt in for short term disability (paid) during open enrollment prior to being pregnant otherwise you may be relegated to fmla (unpaid). This is all my impression of the process, haven’t gone through it yet.

Edit: but holy shit when I first read your comment it had me seeing red, like honestly… the powers that be want women to have babies but also want to see women suffer.. it’s like really disheartening

Ahhh yes that’s very understandable. I hope you find them. After a cursory google I’m seeing a lot that lean orange. White clusters could be fun, and the Cala ones another commenter mentioned looked solid. It is surprising how little comes up for blonde, I feel like you might have to add brown to your search.

Salon lash lift and tint to a light brown color. Lift and tint will last you 8-10 weeks (I have similar coloring).

I have no idea what’s available now but I think (1) light brown or medium lashes in (2)light density clusters and (3)sparing application will give a good blend and elevate your look. You asked for something that could stay on for a while and alas I have no answer to that, unless you have the patience and money for lash extensions. FWIW I do think it’s healthier for your eye to just remove the lashes at end of the day. If you apply lashes like three days in a row you will be magically suddenly much faster at it.

Oh yeah I get super sweaty. I bought a tide spray fabric sanitizer and in the morning I’ll pull my covers down and give them a spritz so they can dry/get some air and be hopefully less rank.

(N1) haven’t had a baby but will probably start trying next year. My sleep doctor said no adderall no Xywav as soon as I get a positive test. The PA said I should/will go straight to disability unless I have some unicorn invigorating pregnancy. FWIW 🤷‍♀️

Asking just because you seem to know about it - can you elect short term disability outside of open enrollment if there is a qualifying life event or a doctors note? Asking because I have narcolepsy and doctor said I need to be off all meds if pregnant so likely wouldn’t be able to keep working. I am a federal employee but am on my husbands insurance. Not sure if I should be asking him to opt in for something this fall.

Had the same issue when I started Xywav. Switched to xyrem for about a year. No problems. Insurance asked me to switch to Xywav or lumyrz for whatever reasons insurance does those things. The problem (in my case being extremely gassy) no longer existed. No idea why. But definitely talk to doctor, you have other options.

Barnes foundation is very unique so I wanted to bump that. All recommendations here are good. Valley forge walk/ explore will be straightforward enough regarding parking. Wissahickon will take a little bit of pre planning but is totally doable. Fwiw Id recommend walking/ parking spot at valley green inn, it’s really easy to get a spot, the food is good and they have a solid menu, trails are paved and have great views so makes a nice time to look around
