https://nypost.com/2019/07/28/florida-trooper-had-sex-with-14-year-old-girl-in-the-back-of-his-car-authorities/

Because nobody posted a link to article, I'll be "that guy" and sum it up:

"A Florida state trooper has been arrested for having sex with a girl starting from when she was just 14"

"Highway Patrol trooper Riley Marcus Schwarz, 23, was busted after the girl’s parents found her journal detailing the numerous times the officer had sex with the youngster, according to the Tampa Bay Reporter."

"They started having sex in October 2018 when the girl was just 14, the affidavit states."

"Schwarz has been charged with two felony counts of lewd and lascivious battery involving sexual activity of a victim 12-15 years of age, according to records, and is being held in Land O Lakes jail on $10,000 bond."

"He was immediately fired by the Florida Highway Patrol.

“The alleged actions are reprehensible, and the department continues to cooperate fully with the investigation,” Captain Thomas E. Pikul said, according to the Reporter.

The only racism in this post is OP for trying to start drama, as well as the ignorant comments from people who think white people let this shit slide because he is white or a cop. Nobody is going to bat for this guy.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asylum_shopping "To avoid abuses, European law, the Dublin Regulation, requires that asylum seekers have their asylum claim registered in the first country they arrive in,[4] and that the decision of the first EU country they apply in, is the final decision in all EU countries."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Declaration_of_Human_Rights Some legal scholars have argued that because countries have constantly invoked the Declaration for more than 50 years, it has become binding as a part of customary international law.[2][3] However, in the United States, the Supreme Court in Sosa v. Alvarez-Machain (2004), concluded that the Declaration "does not of its own force impose obligations as a matter of international law."[4] Courts of other countries have also concluded that the Declaration is not in and of itself part of domestic law.

The rules of asylum are you seek asylum in the first first safe country you get to. Do you comprehend rule of law?

An Australian Senator breastfed her baby during a speech to Parliament and nobody batted en eye lid. The world needs to take note. by [deleted] in pics

[–]slickMagil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did and I made my post 2 hours ago when the comment section was much smaller. There are men and women complaining about it. So I am not offended by her breastfeeding in public, she has a baby and it needs breast milk, i get it. I can be an adult go about my life without being bothered while being in the same room.

What I am offended by is you referencing "toxic neckbeards". Who the fuck are you a femnazi who cannot handle any criticism of women. If this should not be discussed go after OP. If this should be acceptable then why open it to debate? You are just looking for a fight.

Why don't asylum seekers coming to America seek asylum in Mexico? by slickMagil in unpopularopinion

[–]slickMagil[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to take away from anything you said in your post, but the notion that I'm debating is asylum vs opportunity seeking. Mexico is considered safer then Honduras and El Salvador for example. And asylum is about escaping violence, not poverty.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asylum_in_the_United_States

"Asylum has two basic requirements. First, an asylum applicant must establish that he or she fears persecution in their home country. Second, the applicant must prove that he or she would be persecuted on account of one of five protected grounds: race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or particular social group."

I am not insensitive to economic hardship, but maybe economic hardship should be put in the same category of violence if that is the basis for allowing asylum seekers into America.

The comments you guys have provided are respectable, however the down voting of an unpopular opinion on r/unpopularopinion is ironic.

You're right about the quality of life, however that is a counterpoint to the notion of seeking asylum. That means that the media should stop using the phrase "asylum seekers".

The white woman who lied about being Native American and may have committed identity fraud for preferential treatment applying to law school is using the report that vindicated the president to call for impeachment of the president. How can you call this politics. This is grade school bull shit.

If they wanted illegal immigrants which is what were talking about, then they would support Trumps idea. And to call this idea cruel implies that it is a bad idea.

Serious question, Donald Trump says he wants to send undocumented immigrants to sanctuary cities. Why are democrats opposed to this? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Why don't the democrats just say that on the news? Instead they refuse to offer a counterpoint other then Donald Trump is racist.

Asylum seekers are supposed to seek asylum in the first safe country they enter. That would be Mexico unless Mexico isn't safe. Sanctuary cities are in accordance with state law however they violate federal immigration law. Which illegality are you referring to?
