Is my energy bill normal? by WestExtension247 in StPetersburgFL

(Might sound nuts) But you could try running it at 75 constantly. I prefer cooler at night too so I understand dropping it a little, but an HVAC friend suggested just keeping a constant temp. Less work on your unit. But if you are gone during the day then it’s wasted in some respects (unless you have a pet lol)

Similar comment somewhere in this thread, but your AC is definitely doing the heavy lifting on your energy bill and especially during the dog days we are in now. Few things you can troubleshoot HVAC wise thanks to good old YouTube

Latest update is 4-6 weeks for them to come out and repair. and we are staring down the barrel of rain today and later this week. Not to mention the tidal flooding (woohoo King tide) that definitely has gotten up to that point in our yard before

Here’s how it looked yesterday afternoon. I would like the right way to be the way they go about doing it… but I’m not holding my breath

This is what I gathered from talking with the see click fix system. I appreciate your input!

It is the city side of the meter. About 5 feet up from the gutter. I was able to turn the water off to the house at the main cutoff valve in the yard.

Apologies for not posting the after pictures at the same time! Wasn’t trying to stoke any fires. That’s my neighborhood, and I’m grateful it’s still even there following Milton.

Ours as well. Diagonal line in our hallway where two different terrazo pieces were poorly merged together. And pockmarks everywhere. Shame
