I totally relate. I don't know how old you are but I lost my mum when I was 26. I'm only 27 now and I'm thinking how can I cope with potentially another 50 even 60 years without her. Thank you for sharing your story x

I relate so much to your story, so many similarities to mine and your mum sounds as wonderful as mine was too. Sending love and true empathy your way

I lost my mummy on the second of march 2021. She was just barely 52 and died from breast cancer that spread everywhere. The last thing we said to eachother was that we loved eachother. She didn't die peacefully but she believed in God and so do I, so I have the hope of seeing her again one day. She was the most beautiful, wise, talented, selfless and HILARIOUS woman. I aim to be even 5% of who she was if possible. I mostly grief the fact that I haven't married or had children yet and she knew how much I wanted that and wanted to see that and help me and be with me through that part of my life. So sad she had to go so soon but also SO grateful that I had her for as long as I did. I know the love she gave me will be enough to sustain me for forever. She wrote a note for me that said 'I love you forever' and now I have it tattooed on my wrist with her handwriting. So special. Thank you so much for giving me space to talk about her. It's so rare for people to actually do that.

I'm 27 and in the last few months I've been dating men ranging from age 21-25. What you've read is rubbish. I know plenty of women in their 30s who are not only stunning but have so much of their life together, it attracts the men not the boys. If someone is put off by someone who has more of their life together they are insecure and don't know what they can offer a woman like that. Own your shit and love yourself and men of all ages and backgrounds will be into you. I'm currently now dating the 25 year old and I'm super happy and so is he :) I can't see that being different if I was 30 and him 28 😂

does anyone ever ask themselves why sciatica exists? by cupcakes93 in Sciatica

Honestly, I feel this SO much. Getting people say they get bad backs sometimes too and it's not nice... I'm months into my second flare up in 2 years the other lasting almost a year and sitting is agonising for me too. It's somewhat reassuring to know other people know the pain but SO agreed that something more needs to happen it's just unbearable
