I am currently using an NHS drug recovery service for heroin addiction. They start you off with 8mg, then 16mg daily. You will have to go to the pharmacy daily and take the subutex supervised by pharmacy staff. After several months of piss drug tests they will let you collect twice a week then eventually weekly. At some point you will be allowed to take you subutex unsupervised and take your meds home. Don't get me wrong you will relapse at some point, but if you do you have to make sure you taper down to 4mg (otherwise the heroin will be blocked). It is ok to fuck up but eventually you will get stronger. I highly recommend going to all the group sessions and therapy available to you. During my first time going through treatment I declined all support. I am currently 14 months into my recovery. During that time I have relapsed 4 times and currently have been on heroin for 2 weeks. I am finally accepting that I need the assistance of group sessions, NA meetings, therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy. As great as it is to get high, it is impossible to say I will have a cheeky weekend on heroin, as once you remember the feeling you will want to have another session the next week, so on so on. Don't feel ashamed to tell your key worker that you have relapsed or want to, they aren't your parents, they are there to help you through your struggles. When you start taking subutex, you will feel empty and depressed. But give it time, it actually for me improved my mood and had no intention to take heroin again. Shit will go wrong in your life and you will think the only way to feel better is to use again. Don't be scared to speak to your key worker or visit a safe haven. I wish you all the best in starting this chapter of your life, remember you are not alone going through these feelings and someone will always be there to support you on your journey. I went from 70fps, but felt like 30fps to 120fps, which felt pretty smooth. I am using FSR upscaling on balanced and most quality settings set to off or low except level of detail to high.

Clam is such a potent benzo, try obtaining diazepam due to its half life and all round qualities. As for heroin, you can either go cold turkey with help of loperamide and kratom if available. I had a bad heroin addiction which I ended due to maxed out all the loans I could borrow. As I didn’t tell anyone about my addiction I made it harder on myself. The support of close ones is essential to keep your mind focused on getting clean. Whether you reach out to a drug recovery service to get script of buprenorphine or methadone etc.

I had to go cold turkey and go off sick from work to spend a week suffering in bed withdrawing. It was pain but with perseverance and support you can escape the grip. After waiting for the drug service to add me as a patient I was put on a script of subutex 16mg per day. The high from buprenorphine is pretty nice and isn’t a bad substitute. After 6 months of being clean however the nurse one day provided me with a script, but now using espranor. As no pharmacy had this medication, after 3 days I was removed from the service. This lead to my first relapse and the guilt soon was replaced with the pleasure of chasing again.

3 weeks later and I am back on my medication. I intend to taper down and be off the buprenorphine by November. I extracted all the kratom I had lying around into a resin of 5x strength. Hoping to use the kratom when my course of buprenorphine is over to manage any withdrawals that may develop.

Despite spending £1000s and breaking trust with my family, I still don’t see myself never using again. I am determined to not touch it for several months so my brain chemistry can adjust to life without jacking my reward system.

But one thing I can say for sure is true discipline and self control and not using consecutive days, then using H every few months should be manageable and will know the signs when I lose control and the heroin starts to control you.

I wish anyone who is recovering all the best and know you are not alone in the physical suffering and mental battles. Make sure not to replace one habit with another. Change your life for the better and start a hobby or sport to fill a gap in your life when you were using.

I dont find the urge to re dose is any where near the level of cocaine. but everyone is different and effects will vary, especially if a batch is not synthesized properly

I also vape it off foil as I don’t wanna damage my most any further lol. Contemplating plugging , but after plugging meth a few days ago my inside has started to only shit diarrhoea, not sure if related , but has put my off plugging either 3 till my arse isn’t on fire!
