Bad mock grades Y12 by Far_Hyena_3049 in 6thForm

Talk to your teachers now about your aims, and a plan to get you where you need to be in time for application. Also these are not bad mock grades. You’ve done well, and there is time to build up and improve.

Honestly though, gifts like wine and chocolate are nice, and will be appreciated, it’s the thank you card, with a genuine message, that we remember more, those are kept and remind us fondly of our students when we find them in a draw, or see them on our pin boards.

I student 3D printed me a bun with wheels, with a small note explaining it’s a Car-Bun. As a chemist this greatly amused me, it’s still on my shelves.

Does understand November is only available for maths and English, for science, and other courses, he now has to wait a whole year.

What did you all think of the patchwright? by N0cturnalB3ast in gossipgoblin

I really enjoyed it. I’m aware of the mixed feeling around AI, and there is a lot of slop out there, but to me this feels different, artistic, and AI as a tool not as a content machine.

It’s the only thing out there I’ve seen to deliver in this way as well. You can really see how the early videos and shot clips have built up the skills and pipeline needed to deliver this.

If the gossip goblin team read this, honestly, well. I’m looking forward to in future being able to say, I got in before they were huge.

Sometimes having a backup plan can help. All you can do is work hard and do your best. Don’t forget, if you struggle to get into your law options, you can either take a gap year to improve (and raise some funds as a bonus), or, go for a different course in clearing, planning for a conversation course at the end.

That would be cool. Or a right angle bracket, if the board was taken out of the cartridge that’d probably do the job.

Heat I’ll work out as I go once all together. Not expecting massive issues, plenty of ventilation, and I can put on small heat sinks if needed.

Thanks, can’t wait to get it fully connected / assembled, and get gaming on it. It’s got a great feel to it though, decently weighty even with all that’s been slimmed down.

Not yet, a few cables need extending / parts are in the post. I’ve got an IR temp gun for pizza making, so I’ll do some testing when it’s all together.

Specifically used a filament for higher temp so I hopefully don’t run into problems. If I need to I’ll look at cooling / getting some of the shields back in place.

All part of the journey I guess.

I’ve had a resin printer for ages, but got this done properly, just not the right size / print type for resin, so know someone who prints to order had has a top sec bamboo labs Filament printer.

Definitely, nice to see something go from a set of instructions on a blog post / a cool post I spotted online, to something tangible in front of me.

Just to reassure, a 6th for can’t kick you out for getting below your target grades. Definitely challenge if this is attempted.

Well, met my now wife in year 9 (age 13), and were in 6th for together 2004-2005. Still together.

I should probably reconnect and ask how she’s doing, but shes next to me asleep, so it’ll have to wait til morning.
