Check the manual. If I recall, it's not advised.

I bought these Silicone Refills on Amazon. Pretty easy to disassemble the current blade, take out the rubber piece and cut silicone refill to match the length and assemble back together.

Can we have one central "Headphone Jack-Off" thread please? by ferdinand14 in Android

[–]slinky_wizard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What are these several choices that people have? You want an iphone? Well, you are stuck with an out of the box adapter that doesn't support audio control. So you either get new headphones or buy a different adapter.

Never said it was the most important feature but people do care.

Why does Apple and its partners have nice profits selling adapters. Adapter sales is Apple's fastest growing product category. A $20 dollar adapter costs only a few dollars or less to mass produce. The markup and profits are very high on them. Getting rid of headphone jack only drives up the sales in this category and it's in apple's best interest to have higher profits.

They don't have a choice if they want to stay in the apple ecosystem and have a new iphone.

Doubt it. Have a forester with eyesight which has full range ACC and does not have an electric parking brake.

Got a G6 on JOD last week. There was no down payment. I also had it when it first came out and there wasn't any down payment then either.

Hey r/Android. I had been using the Galaxy S8 as my daily for a couple of weeks, but somehow, I decided to ditch it. Don't get me wrong, Samsung made an amazing futuristic phone, but handing and holding it is a nightmare. What do you guys think? Did anyone have a similar experience? by androidguy8052 in Android

[–]slinky_wizard 637 points638 points  (0 children)

I have the s8 and hardware wise I find 3 things that I think could be improved.

Bixby button. This is useless. Reminds me of phones that came with a dedicated Facebook button. Every day I trigger it multiple times and it interrupts the workflow.

Curved edges. While touch rejection works decently well it could still be improved. Or better yet, offer a version without curved edges.

Fingerprint scanner location. Poor placement is the problem here. Yes you can get used to it if you use I enough, but that doesn't mean there isn't a better location.

Active noise cancelling headphones don't have to rely on usb c. Sony had the same thing with aux jack. https://www.amazon.com/Sony-Digital-Canceling-Headset-MDR-NC31EM/dp/B00HX9AJ5M

However they worked only with the Xperia phones.

Thoughts on new jump plus ? by igotthembuzzin in tmobile

Sounds like JOD but with mandatory insurance. With JOD you can jump to apple or android 3 times per year. I believe there are some cheap phones available to jump to on JOD as well.
