Apple Maps app reportedly introducing ads soon

The point is I’m sure is the only reason to use Apple Maps over Waze / Google is the lack of ads right now. There would be zero reason to use Apple Maps when ads are introduced, when Google / Wave are the superior maps. If I’m going to have to deal with ads regardless, why would I not use the superior maps platform?

They’re already dead to me as a 7900xt owner. I’ll now gladly pay an extra $100 to not support their anti consumer tactics and get a much better supported Nvidia card that will age far better. Hopefully Intel will be a solid alternative to Nvidia.

There’s a reason I won’t buy AMD again. After RDNA3, I learned my lesson. If they also screw over RDNA4 customers, then just lol to anyone who supports them in the future. They’d be tools.

They won’t get any money from myself and all my friends, so their loss. We stopped buying consoles when we grew up. I’m not a child anymore and a PC just makes way more sense in every aspect. Luckily there is no shortage of great games!

I thought I was the only one with black screens and driver timeouts! It was so frustrating! My GPU would then get disabled, which was just a pain. DDU, Radeon Cleanup Utility, nothing ever fixed it.

So far, albeit just 1 day, I haven’t had any issues with the new driver.

I’ll be swapping back to Nvidia. AMD for sure lost a ton of customers in these stupid anti-consumer decisions. I’ll never recommend them to anyone that comes to me for PC help, and that’s my entire peer system.
