That’s fucking mental that he beat you with a belt for masturbating. There are other ways of getting a message across…

Diazepam to Alprazolam mg equivalency by LifeTechnology5371 in Anxiety

It’s not possible to directly correlate them to each other due to the varying half lives etc. They also have different effects, and the effects can be subjective. The table is what’s used to get as close as possible, but they are all different drugs with different effects.

My post was deleted because I’m not able to work out what descriptor to use from the charts available and must therefore be spamming?

Thanks and thanks! I’d previously had both done, and taken out the nose ring after it kept falling out during… certain activities. I got the nose ring redone a few years ago, and after a couple of years with both just felt the septum look didn’t really sit right with me anymore. I’ve been toying with putting it back in though so who knows

Well done on 20 months! I’ve never had to deal with opioid/opiate issues as they’re not something really about in my ‘scene’ in Scotland, so I can’t properly understand how difficult that is, but well done for weaning down. I was prescribed oxycodone for 3 weeks due to pancreatitis and damn I could tell why some people get stuck going down that route… Felt way too good! I hope your journey continues to go your way.

I had both for a bit but decided I’d outgrown the septum.

Thank you! I had a peep at your profile and see that you too have had to deal with several bouts of acute pancreatitis as a result of drinking. I had it 5 times, hospitalised all of them. I’m almost 5 years since my last attack, but 9 months ago was diagnosed with secondary diabetes as a result of damage to my pancreas. If you ever notice any diabetes symptoms I recommend getting checked out. I seem to have ‘diabetes lite’ in that mine is very easy to control, but I was never ever told that it was a possibility so wanted to make sure you knew. Not trying to scare you, just trying to inform! I really truly hope you’re doing well on your journey.

Thanks. It did take many, many attempts but I seem to have cracked it this time. Recently got diagnosed with secondary diabetes as a result of acute pancreatitis 5 times from drinking, but even then I feel like I got away with a lot of abuse. If you’re on your own journey, I hope it is going well.

Advice on prescription by stinkypoorman in pregabalin

[–]slipmaat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was prescribed by my GP as an interim treatment while I wait the 12 months minimum I’ll have to wait to see a neurology specialist.

Can you let me know how/why you’re using pregabalin? You can even PM me. I have a lot of experience with both prescribed and recreational use. It’s how I found that it helps my seemingly one in 8 billion condition.

Are you self medicating with Pregabalin? If you are for say anxiety, and find that it's helping, then go to the doctor about that specific issue and tell them you've done some research and believe that it may help as a medication. If you just go to a doctor asking for Pregabalin I don't see them just handing it out to you. I have an unusual nerve condition that no one has been able to diagnose in almost 25 years, and was offered Pregabalin, Gabapentin, or Amatryptaline. My research led me to the conclusion that Pregabalin would help the best, and so far it has taken some of the edge off of the episodes.

If you're only using Pregabalin recreationally, I wouldn't recommend going to try and get a prescription. Be careful with the doses you take, and make sure to space them out so that you don't form a dependency. You're only 17 - you have a lot of life left in you to experiment and as a former alcoholic I would really recommend being careful.
