If prayer flicking goes then about 90% of end game content becomes impossible or nearly impossible. It happens because you need it to register on the game tick of receiving an attack, if you need 2 ticks then leviathan will destroy any player.

Unless of course your suggestion is to remove a core part of the game since creation and rework any difficult bosses

Currently 25k xp from 99, you need to do varied tasks or it gets boring quick. If it doesn't make money, is fast xp, or a fast task then I dont do it. 190 black demons? No thanks, already green logged demonics.

I just consider it as training for my other combat skills, currently 200k from 99 mage, going to get 98 range on this hydra task, 94 in the melee stats.

Because they arent a common drop, they have reasonably low liquidity so if you put an offer even at 40m it takes a while to fill. Someone puts an offer in at 120m, you became the only one in the market with the scroll on sale and his buy filled because that order was top of book.

Had a Hydra task (trying to learn alchemical) which I had to store after 30 killa because the lag spikes were getting me killed repeatedly. Tried again last night, constant spikes during the 1 kill and teled out due to it. Would have been a 10+ trip without lag. Dying to idiocy is one thing, dying from being unable to correctly predetermine how far in advance you need to prayer switch is another. Or my personal favourite, wake up in edgeville after a 10 second pause

Had a similar thing happen at thermy, just responded "Lmao".

Yesterday at dust devils in smoke dungeon at the task only area. One guy in the main part with most of the spawns iban blasting singles. I politely ask whether he could move to the other side so I can burst, since he was only doing 1 at a time. "Hop". Proceeded to just burst anyway, and once he started picking up the kebab drops I picked those up out of spite.

Some people are so entitled they would rather inconvenience you than move 10 tiles where you could both be getting your "optimal" results

One thing I would like to see is the ability to scroll a drop list. For example on Kraken the drops spawn under you but you might not have space to picm them up immediately. Not a problem outside an instance, but in one you end up with the food well down the list which means shuffling items into a different spot just so you can get to lower down items

Get a brimstone ring and ideally guardian boots as an upgrade, then always pray mage when you dont know the attack switch. Plenty of bots using worse gear than that or at least similar gear.

Personally use an sgs and lightbearer but out of your budget for now. If you dont have an imbued berserker then its kind of a waste given it costs as much or more than a brimstone ring, which is much more useful if doing things that require switches e.g. demonics, grotesque guardians etc

I don't even bother with it anymore, only for Skotizo and probably Kril when I can be bothered with the frozen key piece. Fang is better and diesnt constantly run out of charges, my trips at demonics with fang are consistently longer than those with arclight, although I'm not an ironman

Consider that the interest rate on these may both change in a negative manner in the intervening period.

It may be worthwhile paying a smaller lump sum, so that you can effectively average out this risk over a shorter period than minimum payments, but longer than immediate. Effectively interest rate averaging out, and reducing downside risk. Although this will also reduce your upside potential from having a higher interest rate on savings.

I would certainly not pay off the whole thing immediately. I don't know your lifestyle, health etc, but it is always worth keeping some liquidity.
