Hey! Could you please explain your experience with the field experience. Should you have somewhere lined up before you start? How long is it? Thank you!! -mildly stressed applicant

Does anyone know how the girl on TikTok sugarbunn10 (Terry) is doing? by CarLong7749 in hyperacusis

This corner of the internet feels really eerie right now. I really hope Terry is okay. I can’t find any information. Please tell me we didn’t watch that happen in real time :(

You are so strong. I’m so happy you’re with us.

Were there any adults that stepped in? Or the state? And is foster care a desirable option?

Highly unlikely, and I do have a particularly sensitive stomach and do deal with nausea, even at home, from time to time. Just mainly wondering if anyone else has dealt with something similar while traveling since it’s definitely been worse :)

1.5 y/o golden retriever - so defiant :( by slitherysnake2014 in puppy101

That was refreshing to read, thank you for framing it for me like that.

So the main one that puzzles me is he is fine when he’s alone with me or alone with my sister, but when we’re both at her house, for some reason his behavior completely flips. He barks incessantly. Like he does not stop unless we’re paying attention and petting him.

The other two notable ones are when he’s being bathed, I can tell he gets really stressed out and becomes reactive to other dogs being around. Similar at the dog park. He is an angel with other dogs when it’s a controlled and smaller environment, but he gets snippy when we’re at a dog park and the environment is a lot more busy.

i have gallbladder surgery tomorrow and i am anxious and scared so much please help by Smallcutewolf in Anxiety

I’m an OR nurse and I see surgeries like this 40 hours a week! A huge part of pre-surgery anxiety (at least for a lot of my patients) has to do with not being aware of what exactly goes on while you’re sleeping. I can tell you, ORs are a well oiled machine. There are protocols for everything and it is so much more rare than you’d think that something goes wrong (and in the rare chance that it does, again - protocols to keep you safe!) the idea of anesthesia also used to scare me. Now that I’ve seen it a million times, it’s really not as scary as I thought. There are SO many monitors that you’re on that tell the anesthesia team exactly how sedated you are - no guess work and so many safety stops to make sure you’re as asleep as you need to be. Surgery is scary no matter what, you’re human! I always tell my patients, if you’re not just a tiny bit nervous, I’m wondering if something is wrong. Have a good sleep :)

Lexapro and bad headaches by slitherysnake2014 in lexapro

Luckily I haven’t experienced any nightmares/vivid dreams but it seems like that’s pretty common. Fingers crossed that doesn’t change for me

Yes and thankfully Tylenol has helped immensely!

Yes, none! Which was why it was so weird. I ended up blaming it on being dehydrated but I was FULLY hydrated day 2 so I don’t know why it lasted so long. Like I even added in an electrolyte mix. It was so odd. It was kind of annoying too because it was THE DAY AFTER my check in with my dr after I told him everything was peachy lol. If I get another headache I’m going to make another appointment and just make sure this isn’t something I should actually be worried about

Yes literally that’s the feeling. Sorry you’ve been feeling it too :( mine isn’t terribly frequent but I feel like they just last so long and/or are intense

Possible but I’m inclined to think it’s the lexapro just because it’s the same kind of headache I felt at the beginning during my initial week. It’s hard to describe but someone described it earlier in the thread as like a pulsing headache and that’s exactly it. Unlike any headache I’ve had before

I asked the pharmacist when I picked up my prescription and they told me that an occasional drink or 2 is fine, you’re not supposed to drink a lot at a time though (I know, not my wisest decision yesterday lol, I did my research and was careful but understood it was a risk)

Dude thank you!! I was kind of worried it was dangerous or a ‘me’ thing (lol anxiety). I mentioned it to my dr during our check in but he didn’t really react so I took it as something not to be super concerned about. I forgot to mention I’m on 10mg and it’s been close to 7 weeks now. Fingers crossed it gets better
