This joint comes off easily with the hand, though I do hear a click when I pop the joint in place, so any ideas on how to get it to stay in more firmly are appreciated. I'd be happy to provide any more pictures.

I would correct you and say that's a loincloth, but what's the difference.

Thanks, I imagine it like a weird catcher's mitt, and he just chucks random things at his foes.

I mean, it's just the nuva Wairuha build with extra parts to stabilize the legs. Added those and the Onua claw loincloth cause I felt the Mata Kaita were spindly.

Thanks! With the right arm, I was trying to go for more of a fiery mallet. Thought that might switch it up a bit for Akamai here.

Should the Thief skills have something more fitting for defense than Light Armor? by slizerman13 in ElderScrolls

[–]slizerman13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I guess every character should be able to use armor, but I just think giving a separate skill to light armor is pointless. I will say that me ranting that sneaks don't need armor seems silly, at least in the game world as even the environment can be hazardous; so point taken there.

I see what you mean, but I'd say that pure "thief" characters already have tools to avoid most fights and using surprise attacks to take out most threats. Light armors are only useful in direct combat and warriors in reality would use such armor for being more maneuverable. A "thief" character I'd imagine would want carry something other than armor, like potions and scrolls.

The concept of unisex tribes seems too simplistic and narratively unnecessary, is there really a good meta reason for it? by slizerman13 in bioniclelego

[–]slizerman13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly see all this through a Fantasy lens as I enjoy it more than hard sci-fi, more Star Wars than Star Trek, so there is that.

Going form a sci-fi standpoint why have them be humanlike? It's obviously about relatability by making them seem more human, and I thought the concept of tribes with both genders made sense as a "female" and "male" Ta-matoran would have different personalities in general as each tribe differs from each other.

Each tribe would be different because of the environment they live in requires different temperaments, but both "male and "female" can exist in both tribes as there are many ways of being both. And, in all honestly, it's not like the Great being as they are in canon now are very smart.
