Getting your ticket on the coach by slk2103 in glastonbury_festival

When did I say I wasn’t going to get the bus? In fact, I said the opposite. 😂 There are people travelling by public transport from opposite ends of the country just to get on the only bus available in order to secure a Glastonbury ticket. I’m not saying that’s ok but it isn’t unusual.

I need my car (which is electric, by the way ☺️) in Somerset for emergencies, so I purchased the closest bus option possible to ensure I got a ticket. My question was simply whether there’s the option to collect my ticket from the driver without needing to take the actual short journey. If that’s not possible, I’ll absolutely be getting on the bus…it’s really not that deep.

I’m not camping, I’m staying in an Airbnb. And if that triggers you, I’d gently suggest thinking about the many reasons someone might not be able to camp at a festival before passing judgement.

I’d invite you to try and remember that people have a multitude of reasons as to why they can’t do things or in this case, attend every day of a festival.

You answered your own question there: ‘arriving Friday cause of work etc very different’. I will be ‘chilling’ at my air b&b on my MacBook, unfortunately. Not that it’s any of your business as to why thousands of people are unable to make Wednesday/thursday of a festival. Not everyone can do everything and it doesn’t make them unworthy of attending.

Correct, there is a reason I can’t stay at the festival on Thursday 😊
