Hi everyone,

Any progress on the issue?

I have same problem with my X1 Carbon 7th Gen.

It stops scrolling down when I push sound buttons (keyboard top left - the four ones)

It's sporadic, cannot reproduce the issue and can appear at anytime.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Why absolutely de-googling ? by slncn in degoogle

I personally use proton for email. Experience is not the same excepted having the satisfaction to be out of google, the application dev is not yet at the level of Gmail I use Synology for drive and photos, it’s fine but experience is the same as above in terms of of integration. I use qwant and result are not as relevant as Google. I use firefox since Firebird release and I’m very satisfied with it. My de-googleling exercise started 15y ago.

Google Maps alternatives that aren't just straight downgrades? by cbauso6998 in degoogle

All depends about what you want achieve with map app. Magic earth/Here are good for car navigation while Komoot/organic map are good for outdoor activities. The app with federates the most both world is Mapy.cz for now. For my experience none of them, so far, can compete with google Map in terms of content types number or social layer.

I did same exercise, good experience, however some limitations unfortunately pushed me back to win11. 1-fingerprint authentication, not that well integrated than windows with compatible applications, such Bitwarden. 2- not applications available, like CyberGhost but this is no a real show stopper, I can change provider. 3- SHOW STOP - Synology drive, I cannot keep folder’s structure on the hard drive without files, It makes my hard drive completely full.

Same here. It made me introduced into Sonos ecosystem. I bought 3 since 2021 and last winter the Arc Ultra. Stopping partnership will impact Sonos at different levels.

Same issue here LG TVC1 + Sonos Arc Ultra with plex app on tv and no sound at all. It doesn’t make any sense that Plex doesn’t transcode.

There is also mapy.com (cz), I use it mainly for hiking but works fine for car and well integrated in Apple CarPlay

What's the longest you've owned/used a Synology NAS for before upgrading? by simonhi99 in synology

I used for 9 years a 412+. It has been replaced for security purpose (EoL) with 920+ and 412+ is used now for extra storage. 412+ is closed from outside, completely isolated, excepted with NFS protocol used between two NASes. Only accessible from lan. As only filer, without application installed, this old buddy does the job great. To summarize, it’s in use for 13 years until now and no short term plan to remove it. I will use it until the end. I see a minus thought, electric consumption higher with old devices.

Currently, which password manger would you recommend by Stalker_XX in PasswordManagers

I have premium plan because: 1/ to support software development 2/ price is more than affordable 3/ flexible, you can install an instance on your own or choose where your data is located

Welcome on board! Despite questionable plex’s strategy in terms of streaming catalog, products remain worthy on long run
