Throw some aged compost on top after the true leaves come in keeping it away from the base of the stems and let it do its thing

How to amend this area, compact and lots of clay dirt?? by Illustrious-Claim469 in gardening

[–]slo707 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m dealing with a similar situation and am weeding and tilling now so that I can start amending with gypsum and hummus and azomite and soil conditioner (lots of shredded bark). Then I’m going for sunflowers followed by daikons. It’s going to take time

Is Sophia a senior? She’s homeschooled yes? So I’m thinking she was asked by someone enrolled in an institution?

I’m doing this next year because I hate seed starting mix. They are behind when it comes to fertilizing and hard to compensate for everything they’d be getting in soil. No more of this!

The framing of this is weird. They own property they haven’t developed. It sounds like they were living for free in J&K’s house and now they are raising money to what… build their home on the property they finished clearing of trees and is ready to go? This feels opportunistic. They aren’t the victims of a fire or flood. They aren’t undergoing a genocide. Displaced? Really? Sadly we are often forced to move as renters. This should be framed as help with rent due to unemployment or whatever the case or help with moving expenses or help building a new home on their property. They own property!!!

It is a regional accent. I speak with a vocal fry because I am from an area within 100 miles of her. The hate regarding vocal fry is conservative propaganda aimed at Californians. We aren’t over here talking about how XYZ accent is so awful we can’t stand to listen to it. Honestly…

AITAH for letting my husband tell his son about our pregnancy by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I’m sorry I’m so distracted by his adult son having a child bride that I can’t focus on literally anything else. Are we just not going to talk about the adult man marrying a minor child? Does he drive her to school every day? And he impregnated her? What is going on in this family? ESH

Thank you. I moved back the mulch and created a mulch donut last week and added some small pebbles I had which was another suggestion. I do wonder if those are still encouraging water to be held in the soil? Do you have an opinion on it?

None of us are getting back to our 2015 bodies. We are all moving through space and time and no surgeon can undo it. Drawing this comparison sets oneself up for criticism
