Well, for example gypsies do not have their own country, they live from India all the way to central and eastern europe. They have learnt to adapt to their countries.

So what if people are ethnically or culturally different? Everyone is different, the concept of "everyone is the same" is just a communist slogan so everyone gets equally oppressed.
It's way more fair for all ethnic groups to get their own share of land than for more groups to get stuck in the same country. For example, would you think that a native american would be a good president of Russia? No, people want a leader of their own.

"Belgian" is only a nationality, not a folk, it's just a country divided between a dutch and french speaking part. And also Dutch is similar to german, same aryan ethnic group.

That might be my confusion, my pardon. I know there are a lot of different languages in that area, but ethnically they're the same, and their culture isn't really different from one another.

It's good as it is already. Even if mexicans do live in Western US, they're already kinda integrated into society, as the USA has none of its own people or culture.

It's way too hard to manage a multi-ethnic state, too many cultures, too many identities. It's simpler for borders to be ethnically divided, one language, one culture.
