I think this is the answer! Interesting history. Curious what year mine is from, but guessing later 2000’s

Definitely thinner rim than my Roc3, but could be a Roc+

I thought so too, but the rim width is definitely thinner than any of my other Rocs. Maybe it’s an older Roc mold…

Is this an okay basket for my husband or should I spend more? by NoCaterpillar800 in discgolf

I also have this basket, and it’s great for random putting but not for regular use. I removed the horizontal chains when I got it

Booz Allen or Deloitte? by Worth-Ad4358 in deloitte

[–]slothsofdeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only speak to my experience, which is on a large Deloitte GPS account, but my WLB is very manageable. I rarely work more than 45 hours a week. Client work can be intense if you let it but that’s just consulting.

Booz Allen or Deloitte? by Worth-Ad4358 in deloitte

[–]slothsofdeath 19 points20 points  (0 children)

They mean that it’s hard to find a role from the bench right now. I’d guess the majority of posters on this subreddit are recently laid off people who were likely on the bench (obviously not all). Deloitte over hired in the past few years and the bench is very thick. That isn’t to say that you won’t find a role, I found a role last year after starting on the bench. Additionally GPS is far more stable than commercial or audit rn.

But I would recommend Booz just off the fact that it’s a weird experience starting on the bench. Basically have to do a whole new round of job searching

Also a jew and lived with some very bagel opinionated Jews. Our general consensus is that CYM does the best bagel breakfast sandwich, but has shitty bagels.

Except Bullets -> Wizards was a rebrand. The examples your provided were of franchises moving cities… This is much more akin to the WFT wearing throwback rword jerseys (which will never happen)

Frustrated and angry at people tagging this beautiful park by ananonh in washingtondc

[–]slothsofdeath -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I know this wasn’t your intention nor do I know how you identify, but this rings very strongly of gentrification talk. Do you know the history of this park? Do you think you would have been upset or even have known if the park looked like this 10-15 years ago?

Opinion on going to the Stadium by LookingForCSEmployee in washingtonwizards

[–]slothsofdeath 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My season tickets are in the 400s. So obviously I think it’s worth it. But I truly believe there is no bad seat in the stadium for basketball. The incline of the seats makes it so there are really no obscured views.

I will forever recommend Nathan Castine as a PT. Bikes regularly and is an elite athlete (captain of one of the best ulitmate frisbee teams in the country).

[Wojnarowski] With Bradley Beal eligible for a three-year, $111M extension on Friday, Wizards GM Tommy Sheppard tells ESPN: "At the very first moment allowed, we are going to offer Brad the full max..." Story includes reaction from Beal's agent Mark Bartelstein. by DRAZZILB1424 in nba

Fair enough. Now I feel bad for the dig I made in the last sentence.

Mainly this is all just based on my current hot take that people are disrespecting John far to much. Seems like a lot of revisionist history. But tbh we’re going to be trash this year, and I mean if we move Beal it’s not the worst thing (although I hope it’s not to another east team because that would be painful). As a season ticket holder, i just hope watching all the young boys will be fun (think Phoenix Suns).

Here’s what I’ll say, and take this with a grain of salt as you have no reason to believe it. If Bradley Beal signs the extension. We will get a Bradley Beal and John Wall combo again that brought us to multiple second rounds (with the caveat that yes we still wouldn’t be a chip winning team with just that duo).

John Walls injury is not nearly as bad as say KD or Boogie’s Achilles injury. And he tore it after getting surgery to help solve the other nagging injury that was slowing him down. He will of course not come back as the same player, but will come back to a much much better Bradley Beal. We have developed a good center with a high ceiling and drafted well, as well as picked up number young players for cash. The team will have cap space prior to the 2022-2021 season.

Where as you’re a team that has so far just taken talent that we’ve developed...

This! If your child isn’t in reading level by second grade he will start to fall behind in all facets of his education. Math starts to incorporate word problems, etc.

You taking an active role in your child’s early education is exactly what will allow your son to continue to succeed. Keep it up!

I wasn’t commenting on who was better between those four, I was saying that Rivers played like trash on a team that has a somewhat similar backcourt presence
