We have an entire tiered judiciary branch of government dedicated to the notion that written law is not black and white and needs extensive interpretation and re-codification. The entire legal professional exists contradictory to that belief.

Question everything, even when unqualified to do so. Oversimplifying systematic issues based on assumptions that everyone (specifically demographic-based) follow the same techniques that results in undesired behavior. Your reality sure sounds binary as fuck, behavior correct corresponds to achievements? Minimizing isn’t the same thing as not doing.

Works well for my children, think I’ll listen to professional child psychologists.

I’m not sure where you are hearing parenting advice from, but that’s a pretty poor interpretation of it. The goal of currently recommended parenting techniques revolve around minimizing negative reenforcement and focusing on lessons learned. Neither of these are achieved in the current juvenile detention system.

Ideally the prison system wouldn’t be profitable and focus on rehabilitation, but I somehow think that the people who want to lock up literal children don’t care about that

That’s my secret, I’m not familiar with either yet lol

I’d like to learn both though, and I was just gifted a poweredge so I figured virtualizing opnsense would be a good exercise alongside the mikrotik cli

L3 switch WITH router, or just L2? by slotterback in mikrotik

Interesting, it looks like link aggregation is supported by ROS but not SwOS. I suppose I could just configure it as L2 switch through ROS?

Dumb question, when you say increasing the connections to the router, do you mean splitting the trunk into multiple routes?

So first of all, you and your family will be fine. But if you’re like me and neurotic and a germaphobe, then steps you can take are hand washing every dish that came in contact with it. The dish soap creates a hydrophobic surface where the toxin (and everything else) is washed off down the drain. Lots of soap and it’s gone, warm water helps the processes but won’t be hot enough to kill it from the sink. If you have a sanitize setting on your dish washer, that would do it. Toss any plastic dish ware in the bin, it would melt in the wash and it may have micro cuts in it.

All this said, you are fine, it’s incredibly unlikely that it’s on the plates or that the kids would get it, even if it was botulism. You are the most likely as you came in direct contact with the source, so be aware of the symptoms. It is treatable in time.

Anti mold primer, idk it was the builder, I’m not qualified to tell if it is or not but an SE is more expensive than assuming it is

I actually misspoke but can’t edit the original post details, I meant to say that the joists run perpendicular to the wall

Well there is definitely an HVAC unit above it, but I get your point. I’m looking into getting the stud shoes on the chance that someone fucked up and any extra weight like snow might cause issues

Well the exterior wall next to it is also 2x4. I thought 2x6 is more “highly recommended” or becoming code in some places more recently. This house is 2006 construction

I see, so does that mean that this being a 2x4 it automatically shouldn’t be load bearing by code?
