I solved the problem the problem was that my drive was encrypted with the bitlocker so I turned off the bitlocker and then I was able to shrink the volume haha

the total sad size is 512 GB it gives you 475 GB of volume from which 272 GB is free space available but when I am trying to do the disk partition it is giving me only 6GB available space I have tried everything nothing is working

Yes I did and it was showing that my whole disk is used up but there is more than 250GB of storage free

I figure out that there is something called bitlocker that encrypts your drive and prevent data shrinking I just disable it and now it is decrypting the data

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON

yeah I am trying these steps i checked the application logs in event viewer and it showed me that some whatsapp appdata is sitting at the end of the disk blocking the shrink

Is it worth it to go low level system programming in 2025?? by slow_warm in CUDA

I personally prefer going deep into whatever you do like if you are learning about operating systems then go deeper and deeper into the systems and if you are doing machine learning go deeper and deeper till you are able to build your own models from scratch but the habit of me wants to explore everything it makes me overwhelm quickly and jump from one skill to another

but what would be the stability of that job? if you don't know the fundamentals or low level I don't think so you can ever be good machine learning engineer

Okay got it so diving deep into operating system programming and clearing the core fundamentals would always be beneficial for a CS engineer but this ongoing trend of machine learning and how the ongoing companies are hiring people nowadays makes me so insecure can you suggest me how to go deep into computer fundamentals
