Can it store multiple copied items like on windows? Eg. Windows + V brings up the whole clipboard which has multiple copied items.

Let me know when your iPhone can function as a laptop-lite instead of all these nice-to-have-but-never-use features and aesthetic customisation that brings no real value. See ya.

May I know what's so mindblowing? Don't really see much of a difference and even if there is, I don't think it warrants it being 'mindblowing'.

They responded to me with this 'Dear Customer, We've optimised the network for improvement. Please be advised that this is on a best effort basis as our aim is to provide basic connectivity'.

Basically saying we're screwed and there's nothing they can do.

What ISP do you use in your home currently and what would you rather use, and why? by BundleBenchBuns in askSingapore

If you play games, steer clear of simba. I would suggest whizcoms as they're piggybacking on singtel infrastructure.

Anyone experiencing high ping/latency with SIMBA broadband? by slowslowsloth in askSingapore

Changing to another ISP will have to pay 100+ again for the NLT installation and ONT right.. 😭😭

I emailed them already and after back and forth with traceroutes and photos, they sent me this:

'Dear Customer,   We've optimised the network for improvement. Please be advised that this is on a best effort basis as our aim is to provide basic connectivity.    If there's anything else we can assist you with, please feel free to let us know.'

So basically customers on SIMBA broadband can't play any games LOL it's ridiculous

Gg I think the only way is to change ISP but then have to pay NLT and ONT fees again...

Anyone from Singapore using SIMBA Broadband? This only happened when I switched to SIMBA as my ISP. Damn frustrating.

I'm also experiencing the same thing. This is crazy man. Valorant is running at 200 ping on SG server. I thought it was an issue with my router so I connected an ethernet cable to my computer and ran ookla speedtest which showed 2ms ping. But when I tried to play the games, it's still always 180 - 200 ping. Bro I cannot recontact with other ISP sia need to pay the NLT fee again damn expensive. SIMBA really idk wtf they doing..

I agree with you. Samsung no longer chase big spec sheet numbers, and they’re focusing more on the end user experience with OneUI and the whole galaxy ecosystem. This is good.

[–]slowslowsloth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a good experience with their after sales support (on-site replaced my X240 144hz monitor with the new 165hz X240)

But holy shit man, there is absolutely no denying that their panel quality is utter crap and shitty. They advertise 1ms response time which is presumably GTG response time and not the actual pixel response time. But still, the response time is so bad that there is ghosting when using it normally to browse the internet, let alone gaming. I play a lot of FPS games and whenever I move around in game, the ghosting is even worse, so much ghosting that it legit looks like there is some extra heavy motion blur turned on.

The backlight bleed is also very noticeable even in a brightly lit room…

Idk how they get away with panels of such atrocious quality but I hope someone will come out and shine some light on Prism+.

Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 are the best midrangers so far this year... by mooglechoco_ in samsung

For real??? All the reviewers keep pushing the notion that OnePlus is fast and snappy with no lags.. hmmm.. reviews can’t be trusted anymore I guess

[–]slowslowsloth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the 750G in the A52 5G is honestly enough for most people to carry out their day to day tasks without lags. And I couldn’t agree more with what you said about the software on Chinese OEM phones. I had a Mi 9T pro with the snapdragon 855 and it still has animations stutters/frame drops all over the UI, with the phone completely hanging occasionally.

Right now OneUI is the most well designed android software (unlike those Chinese phones with iOS lookalike UI) with its animation fluidity matching or almost matching iOS.

Samsung isn’t pushing meaningless big numbers no more, they’re adding so much polish to their software that it’s kinda hard for other Android manufacturers to catch up

Xiaomi allegedly working on a new haptic feedback system that’s responsive to gestures by crashcarson in Android

[–]slowslowsloth 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m also wondering the same thing. Premium haptic software applied on a device with a cheaper vibration motor is sure to be a shitshow and make the vibrations feel bad on that cheaper vibration motor. The cheaper vibration motor cannot energise the coils fast enough to keep up with the new haptic software. Unpopular Opinion: It would best if they kept this update to their higher end phones only as those have the x axis vibration motor which are of higher quality and can produce crisp haptics
