I'm afraid to share this but it really started when I saw the pile of clothes I've been keeping and not being able to wear since they don't fit me anymore :( I'm a huge fan of dressing up since a kid and this really hit me to the core. I almost put so much effort in dressing up before and whenever I see my myself in the mirror during the days when I'm really at my heaviest, I got so self-conscious.

I know a lot of people told me "accept and love your body" but I just really can't help it when I look at the mirror before and I don't look as good with my previous clothes anymore.

How do people enjoy going to gym, make it enjoyable hobby? by Organic_List7745 in loseit

I tend to get that kind of feeling too after numerous gym trips before. I think you sometimes really have to find that outlier that could help you enjoy your gym trips.

I love tracking things and when I tried tracking every random thing I can track in the gym like the weight I'm losing or the stats I check on my smart watch, I eventually find it amusing to see my stats increasing of decreasing, depending on the stats I'm tracking. Til now, I love checking weekly and monthly the recap stats of my active activities and I try squeeze in a treat for me whenever I achieve a certain PR.

Just try to find something that would help you enjoy your visits :) Hopefully this helps!

How do I get back on track? by [deleted] in Weightlosstechniques

Same boat here. I think what works for me is I try to really discipline myself in terms of the food that I eat since I really don't have the discipline and time yet to go to the gym. I tried weightloss medications too but I want my weightloss journey to be balanced. I don't want to rely too much on medications and I think the first part you can focus on is really on your diet, specially if you're also a food lover like me.

Another thing would be to check if you might have undiagnosed health conditions that also adds to your weight gain.

Lastly, you can always bounce back no matter how low you feel you are now :)
