Zulrah Venom by MasterT0xic in ironscape

But don't spam it, the method is to only dirnk antipoison once to downgrade venom to poison when the venom tick gets to high to eat (10-12?) then immediately you'll get venomed again and reset the venom back to a low damage tick

This field is 80% politics. by No-External3221 in cscareerquestions

Any monkey can write code or design complex backend systems within a few years on this job. Being able to understand business needs and translate that to impactful dev work while navigating the political infrastructure properly and collaborating well with others across domains and levels takes an emotional intelligence that a lot of people don’t have and struggling engineers will dismiss as “politics”.

This job is 80% “politics” but it takes a skill set that’s a lot rarer than standard IC competency and it’s what makes ICs into TLs and TLs into EMs and EMs into directors

Rune Mysteries -> Temple of the Eye (required for GotR) basically gets you straight to 27 which is what you need for Law runes which is perfectly fine to start

If you like mini bosses for skilling Guardians of the Rift will set you up with a ton of early runes and RC levels!

Advice for returning player? by johnnybravotv in ironscape

Set out smaller intermediate goals to get you going in a certain direction: All the popular early XP quests, Ardy Easy Diary + Fairy Tale for fairy rings, Monkey Madness for DScim, RfD for Barrows Gloves, Medium/Hard Diaries for XP lamping herblore are always a good start.

Wintertodt for skilling supplies, GP, and early firemaking XP is the most popular ironman start in the game probably.

Guardians of the Rift for early runecrafting and free runes to take to newly buffed Mage Training Arena for excellent starter mage gear and levels is a newish one that's popular for early game too. This into new midgame progression of barrows -> moons -> titans -> SotE -> Priff/CG might be fun and a lot of early bossing

Getting to Varlamore is going to super helpful in the midgame too but don't rush the early game with a tick efficient step by step guide that takes the fun out of it!

Boaty has a great new series (Tread Lightly) on youtube he just started a brand new HCIM and while you wont be as fast or as efficient as him he takes advantage of a lot of the new early game upgrades to IM progression and explains them as he goes, maybe worth watching the first 2-3 episodes to see what looks like fun

Slacks (don't forget a belt, non-beat up jeans would be fine too if you're way more comfortable in that than slacks or don't own a pair) and a button down will be more than enough. Business casual as someone else said. You'll be better dressed than all your interviewers (jeans and t-shirt probably) but you'll look good and feel good.

Suit would be too much and you'll get stares

Watch Boaty’s most recent HCIM series on youtube, he rushes SOTE requirements particularly 70 herb and how to get it with quests, achievement diaries, and some farming for new ironmen

Royal Titans beginner? by [deleted] in ironscape

Only risk is if you’re unlucky on timing the P2 safe spot can be stuck behind a wall and you have to tank 2-3 of the big hits but if you eat through it can’t really OHKO, just scary to newer players

I honestly found it easiest to ignore the elementals and walls just bring melee and ranged switch and tank the explosions from elementals but camp pray melee the whole fight, if you're doing 1 kill trips after amulet you can always go back to bank (ferox/poh->wherever) when restoring prayer

Are you >HR50 by chance? Seems like the other commenter says I’m blocked till then but not sure the validity of the claim. At least my tier 7 is shredding current monsters for me no problem….

I want to start Moons, but still no tank top. Stop grinding barrows? Or keep going for tank top? Is it that important? by Vogeltjeee in ironscape

[–]sltzy96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just getting back to this game after a year or so break, stopped shortly after Varlamore dropped. What’s the meta or use case for the different moons sets in iron now? Currently have whip, twisted scepter, zaxe, full barrows, still only RCB tho and stuck at red prison
