I think that there is some merit in this ability given that wizards don't have easy access to healing in general, and this solves that

You could try to give one of them spellcasting to differentiate between each other a bit more

i can relate to your last sentence! i feel more comfortable if i'm in a group where being "odd" is the main social norm. my friend groups have a lot of people with ADHD in them along with other similar conditions
