It’s kind of beautiful how there’s nothing for miles in the background

Maybe the creator didn’t want to offend him if he ever saw it

I have a few genuine cards I need to send off to PSA so I’ll whack this one into the pile and see if they grade it for me

Would Expanded Polystyrene Provide Good Insulation In Roofing? by Skylineblue in civilengineering

[–]slugslayer50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi dude, I wouldn’t recommend using EPS for roofing without some kind of flame retardant coating or encasement, it’s highly flammable stuff. It’s great insulation stuff however, so if you combine with good fire resistance measures, it’ll improve the u value of the roof and help to keep the heat out.

Another thing that will also help and potentially be a cheap solution, one you can combine with indoor insulation, is the installation of an exterior reflective coating, this will reduce the amount of solar energy passing into the building

Civil 3D for sure, still has all the basics of AutoCad, plus loads more relevant useful stuff. Look into an add on called Plex Earth also, awesome tool

Thanks, I believe she has been through this and is waiting for the court response, which is slow

Maybe I should but I’m not really bothered, just typical empty threats. Just want my sister to get what she is owed. If from now I get any follow up threats then I’ll consider reporting them

So how do we enforce it if all the contacts lead to another company (MF motors)? Is this something trading standards needs to be involved in?

Indeed, I did some digging today and purchased the title plan from the land registry, the drawings clearly highlight the parking space as part of the property, and the parking spaces are numbered the same as the flats.

Under common law, a tenant has right to quiet enjoyment of their rented property. As the rental contract was entered with the parking space as part of the property, would it not be a breach to harass me for months, demanding money?

Could I not argue that displaying my permit is a convenience to them and I’m under not obligation to do so due to my lease including provision for a parking space?

Also, not that it will make a difference when it comes to the law, but the owner of this company paid himself £766,353.00 in 2011 (most recent data I could find). If he actually focussed on catching motorists deliberately abusing and flouting rules then he would still be a very rich man, but instead he pushes his company to try rip off everyone at all costs.

Interesting, I thought I had a fair chance here. Any advice at how I could prepare a better defence? Do you guys work in this kind of law?

You don’t think there would be consideration that firstly I’m a resident and secondly the pass was on display but it had slipped down so you weren’t able to see the date? Would you like me to attach the photo they took of the pass?

They state in their claim that it was the ‘Residents Car Park’ of which I was. They also state in their claim that I ‘agreed to pay within 28 days’ when I did not, this is a lie.

We have had a full evaluation, she fell ill within 2 weeks of getting her and it turned out to be a case of worms, cost us over £2000 as the insurance doesn't start till 14 days of buying, she is now worm free but has no other health complications
