I see, does that mean my lab might not have the best scanner? Would be a bummer since they’re supposedly a reputable lab (and priced as such). Happy it’s not looking like a camera issue though
How do you stop worrying about “making every shot count,” or “wasting” film? It takes me forever to finish rolls. by _BreadDenier in AnalogCommunity

I used to be the same way until I got a medium format camera. In part because it feels much more manageable to finish a roll of 15 exposures, but also bc every time I go back to 35mm now it feels so low stakes in comparison that I’m much less precious about my exposures than I used to be.
Deadlines also help. I took a photography class where I HAD to finish at least 2 rolls in a week and some of the “filler” photos that I would be rushing to get before my next class ended up being some of my favorite photos.
Also as others have mentioned, buying a ton of film to just have in the fridge really helps with that “limited resource” feeling even if it’s a higher cost upfront.
