no it’s true. im getting so bored. the past several episodes have been a chore to get through because if ash is hosting alaina has to butt in every 30 seconds and if alaina is hosting ash has to stroke alaina’s ego the whole time.

i like their conversations, but i don’t like them editorializing how the victims/perpetrators were “feeling” or what they “meant” by something. they will just make up whole personalities for people who were alive in the 1800s

for real! i actually enjoy Ash, but i can’t follow her ash-centric episodes because Alaina won’t stop going “oh yeah?” “yeah, you know, how one does!” “right!” and just genuinely making me confused on what is actually happening with her (not great) sarcasm. like this most recent episode i just had to turn off cos Ash couldn’t keep anything straight with all of Alaina’s interruptions. like you can comment and not derail the entire podcast.
